Back-Bending Yoga Poses

Benefits:
- improves posture
- improves flexibility in shoulders and chest
- strengthens the core, legs and back
Tips:
- press your feet into your hands to lift the chest
- tuck your tailbone, pressing your pubic bone into the floor
- engage your core muscles
- roll the shoulders down and back, keeping your neck long
- if you feel pinching in your lower back, release the pose and try one side at a time – right hand holding right ankle and lifting up, then left hand holding left ankle
