Benefits:
- improves posture
- strengthens the core
- strengthens the shoulders and triceps
Tips:
- press the tops of your feet into the mat and feel that your quadriceps are engaged
- tuck your tailbone and engage your core muscles, lifting the navel in and up
- press your hands into the floor until your hips and legs also come up, leaving only your hands and feet on the mat
- if you feel pinching in your lower back, practice cobra pose instead
