Benefits of Flexibility:
- Improves mobility and performance
- Reduces the risk of injury
- Reduces muscle soreness
- Improves posture
- Reduces incidence of low back pain
- Improves circulation
- Improves muscle coordination
- Enhances the enjoyment of physical activities
Flexibility Tips for Women:
- If you know that particular parts of your body are tighter than others, be sure to focus extra time on those places.
- Stretch at the end of every workout, holding stretches for thirty seconds or longer.
- Stretch to the point of where you notice the feeling, but you’re still able to breathe and relax. There’s no need to force it. Increased flexibility comes with time.
